In areas of leadership, Pamela Anderson has been fortunate to enjoy a marketing and finance career that has included key positions in both the corporate and non-profit sectors.  She has held such positions as Board Member, Director of Wealth Management, Director of Government Relations and Project Finance Officer. She organized a symposium on Health Care Cost Containment and developed teams to assist companies with budgeting and capital planning.

 

Throughout her career, she has been utilizing financial experience gained within major organizations to make capital investment in small and mid-size businesses including transportation, container shipping port, educational facilities, and infrastructure. She has a track record of increasing revenues, budgeting, underwriting, reducing costs, managing risk and creating job opportunities.

  • Structured complex loans averaging over $25 million for Private Banking U.S. domestic and Latin America clients secured by marketable securities of their portfolio including equities, bonds, REITS, mutual funds and hedge funds. NJ ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, Newark/Trenton, NJ: 1999 –2006

Finance/Credit Officer: Relationship Management and financing responsibilities using affordable loan programs for commercial real estate from conception of a project, completion of construction and closing of deals; executed $3 billion in structured financings for New Jersey’s Development Bank;  Increased revenues by financing a $125 million bond issue for the redevelopment of the State’s largest container Shipping port, $500 million for development of NJ Transit’s Light Rail system and parking garages and over $1 billion in construction financing for private and public educational facilities

  • Business development of new relationships, originated, and structured transactions using fixed income debt securities including municipal bonds, tax-exempt bonds for manufacturing, revenue bonds, certificates of participation, and bond anticipation notes for infrastructure, rail, shipping, non-profit, educational, charitable foundations and cultural arts projects;
  • Using real estate finance products, structured corporate business lines of credit, commercial loans for construction, acquisitions, equipment and working capital; structured mortgages for commercial real estate purchases, refinancing and leasehold improvements/renovations;
  • Facilitated collaboration and extensive liaison with trustees, remarketing agents, investment bankers, financial advisors, bond counsel, rating agencies and arbitrage rebate professionals to develop and manage the underwriting of municipal bond projects. Evaluated responses to RFPs, and participated in selection and oversight of underwriters, financial advisors, remarketing agents and credit providers. Reviewed Official Statements and Trust Indentures to analyze critical financial and credit provisions.
  • Evaluated requests for credit enhancement through letters of credit and interest rate swaps from clients and banks interested in broadening their sources of liquidity as well hedging any potential market risk.
  • Prepared thorough credit risk recommendations and bond finance proposals for presentation to the Board of Directors for the issuer. Once approved negotiated legal documentation as well as ensure compliance with approved credit terms with bond counsel and in-house counsel to close the transaction.

Department of Human Services, Trenton, NJ: 1994 – 1999

Director of Government Affairs: Acted as the Department’s key legislative and regulatory lobbyist to support the initiatives of the client base. 

  • Managed and coordinated the key State social services agency’s legislative initiatives and analyzed all pending legislation to determine the financial impact on the programs and administrative direction of the Department with a 1+million client base and a $6+ million budget.
  • Represented the Department’s interests before the legislature, including public testimony and effectively establishing partnerships with various client and community constituencies.
  • Directed the introduction and passage of key legislation in the areas of municipal bond appropriations, managed health care, state debt and fee collections and implementation of federal statutory requirements.
